But the specific example you’ve cited of one country and one population group probably represents one extreme of a complicated picture. For example, here in britain, asian men are disproportionately unemployed…but they’re also disproportionately represented among the high-earners, and are a net benefit to our economy. And there are some interesting stats, like that black women earn on average more than white women, according to [government stats](http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/career_and_jobs/article5162672.ece). All I’m saying is “immigrants don’t do well in europe” would not be a fair summary. ---
