No, she’s not dead. I’m not good enough for clever thread titles. Beloved former Doper and gossip columnist to the Silent Screen has a website with just breaking obits from Hollywood. [www.evesobits.com](http://www.evesobits.com). The blurb from her site: Just-breaking show business obituaries from Eve Golden, film and theater historian, magazine writer and editor, and former obit writer for The Everett Collection. ---

Thanks for posting this! I miss Eve’s posts here and am glad she’s got these on her own site. I bet the Death Pool folks will find this useful too. ---

Yeah, interesting! You can “like” those obituaries if you like… ---

I’ve got two or three of the books she’s written about Hollywood stars of yesteryear, and they’re excellent. They might take a bit of finding but they’re well worth the effort. [Here’s her non-obituary website.](http://evegolden.com/) ---

She’s a remarkable person. There have been Dopefests, yes. Then there were the precious few gatherings she organized at The Algonquin Hotel. She created her own Roundtable. I attended once. It was just amazing. Her intellectual acumen is matched quite well by her rapier-like wit. And she’s a snappy dresser. Long live Eve !!! ---

I was wondering what had become of her. I bought and read her Anna Held book, but she dropped out of the Board and I lost track of her. I’ll have to contact her. She might be interested in some of the Old Tyme Stars in iLost Wonderland.
