even if it wasn’t in hte movie? Whenever I hear “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman, I think of “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”. Similiar themes, I guess. ---

A strange one - my sister was once watching Halloween 5 when “Mr Bojangles” came on the radio. She muted the film to listen, and now associates it with Michael Myers stabbing people. ---

Does anybody _not_ associate “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” with **The Breakfast Club**? ETA: And then there’s “Footloose”, “Fame”, “Maniac”, “Danger Zone”…the 80s were the era of the cheesy soundtrack tie-in. ---

Soundgarden’s “Outshined” makes me think of Brad Pitt getting stoned in True Romance. That Dick Dale song reminds me of John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing in Pulp Fiction. ---

To me,the song “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” will always be associated–and spoiled–by **The Execution of Private Eddie Slovik**. It was in the movie, and played as Martin Sheen was executed. ---
