I was home from my first year in college - 18. She was my ex-social studies teacher, and had a flat tire at the mall. I changed her tire, she invited me over for some lemonade - it was a hot day, and we ended up spending 3-4 hours together, then never again. She was 41. ---

I was 47 and he was my paladin in an MMO. I’d been divorced and celibate for 6 years. He was 21, never even kissed a girl in his life. Six days in a hotel room. Ooh la la. ---

A little over six years is my oldest so far, so I don’t think I qualify. There was a woman in her late forties (I’m 25) on a personals website that has told me repeatedly that I should let her know if I ever make it through her city so there’s some chance, I think. ---

The year I was 31 was a year of extremes. I had an affair with a 44 year old woman, and when that ended, I had an affair with 18 year old. Thirteen years either way is the most extreme I have ever been. ---

Classic college boy fantasy. Back in college, I had a brief affair with a professor. I was 20, she was probably 45. I was in love, she was a bit more realistic and considered it merely entertainment, a sort of perk that came with tenure. Like a corner office or a good parking spot. In fairness, she never tried to get me to believe otherwise. I look back on that time very fondly, and often wonder how she’s doing now. I wonder if she’s till teaching there (easy enough to find out). She’d be into her seventies by now.
