There’s an artist in my area of town who thinks I’m kinda cute. (Not a celebrity, but famous in some circles) She’s already gotta boyfriend, though. I also know a Canadian actor who also thinks I’m kinda cute. He’s married. I’m so lonely. 😛 ---

I did…well once in the '80’s. Before she got bigtime rich and famous from syndication residuals. From time to time she’d leave messages on my machine just to mess with my head you know. Finally I picked up the phone and confronted her. You know how it is guys…I said: “look here Tiffani-Amber Thiessen of _Saved By The Bell_ and _Beverly Hills 90210_ fame…just because I took your virginity doesn’t mean you have to come swooning back into my manly arms every time some Hollywood pretty boy dumps you - what am I? A common Sheen?” I haven’t heard from her since… [sup]can anyone say “libel”?[/sup] ---

I went out with a minor celebrity for several years. A musician. People familiar with the early '90s “shoegazer” music scene would know who he is, there were lots of occasions when we were at a gig together when people would point at him or come up and talk to him. And another guy I dated a few years after that is/ was the manager of a band who have since become _very_ well known on the indie scene, and since he’s the fifth-member-of-the-band type of manager he’s become a (very) minor celebrity himself (been interviewed in NME and that sort of thing). And no, I’m not identifying either of them 😃 ---

I didn’t really date any celebrity…But I was the guide for quite a few when they were in Istanbul for the Festivals. I can never forget the “thank you kiss” I got from Helena Bergstöm, the Swedish actress. ---

Well, this is a reeeeeal reach, but it’s no worse than some of the crap that’s been served up thus far… In college my boyfriend was the great-great-great (add some more greats) nephew of George Washington. George didn’t have any kids, so it’s as close as you can get family-wise. ---

Well… I had a golf date with Wendy Reiger, who is the local NBC affiliate’s anchor here in DC. (Not really pre-arranged; we were matched because her group had only three and I was a single walk-on). (So it’s probably not correct to say ‘date’). 🙂 Let’s see… I sat next to Elyane Boosler on a flight from New York to L.A. And Lauren Tewes once tried to kick me in the crotch. But none of these, I am forced to admit, really qualifies as a ‘date’. - Rick ---

No, not in the sense of romantic involvement. However, if you take “date” to mean go out to dinner, one of the more recognizable male fashion models (in Vogue, in runway shows, on those ads on the sides of buses, that sort of thing) was in my department at college, and he was my project partner during a study abroad trip to Rome. We went around to some of the most romantic places in the city, taking copious notes on architectural styles, and then would usually have dinner or drinks together at the end of the day. He was recognized by a lot of people, and the whole thing made me very paranoid and uncomfortable, and more sympathetic to celebrities who complain about privacy issues (which I had always thought was sort of whiny before). It’s very strange to have people stare at you openly for extended periods of time (ok, they weren’t staring at me exactly, except maybe to wonder why Mr. Insanely Handsome Fashion Model was dining at a fashionable restaurant with a Very Frumpy Person) and I was amazed by how many people would say things that we could clearly hear – speculating how much money he made, for example. ---
