# Ever Driven or Ridden in a Six-Digit Car?

Not yet, not that I can recall. But my current ride is on the high side of 5 digits! đ Someday, maybe.
Stupid related story: When I was a kid probably 10-12 yrs old, a bunch of other kids and I were hanginâ round the supermarket where I grew up. It was a resort town in the mountains and a great place to live, by the way. Anyway, some dick-wad pulls up in a Pantera and goes inside. Me and the other kids are checking out the car and just admiring it. Nobody is touching it.
The dickhead comes out of the store and sneers at us and says, real snarky-like, âGet away from that car! You daddy couldnât afford the paint job!â
Well, I didnât say anything then, but I have always thought about that comment. What the dickhead didnât consider, and was probably beyond his comprehension, was that the average price of homes in the area was about $750k (in todays dollars) and that some of the kids âdaddysâ had stuff in thier garages that make Panteras seem like the kit cars they practically are.
Man, that guy was a tool!

My wife rode half-way to our wedding in a Vintage RR Silver Cloud. She rode the other half of the trip in the photographerâs Saturn, as the RR broke down. What a POS. The limo company didnât even give us a voucher for a car for a night, let alone a refund, to make up for it. Bastards.
But Iâm not bitter.

And you paid the bill for that broken down POS?!?!?!
Driven a Rolls with a wheel on the wrong side- man that thing sucked.
Had a ride in a $500K Mercedes SUV - fully armored with air tight seals that could be deployed if needed and a microphone to talk to people outside. Neat but not that great - of course it had a purpose.
If you add up the cost of all my cars it would be well over $100K, but I donât think that counts???
B&I has run circles around some $100K+ imports đ đ đ
