I’ve been known to buy a few bags or packs of recycled golf balls (salvaged out of water hazards, for the uninitiated), and many, if not most, of these balls have corporate logos or initials on them (I _think_ initialed ones as well). It occurred to me the possibility of one finding an old, long-lost ball within these packs. Did it ever happen to any Dopers?

Not quite, but I did find a ball I’d declared lost on a subsequent round…not that I had a habit of driving into certain clumps of gorse, or anything…
