Up to now I presume none of 'em have been repellent enough that you had to chew off your own arm rather than wake them. 😃

My husband got a leg cramp at a very inconvenient time once. It didn’t completely discourage him, but we had to stop for a few minutes. I didn’t vote in the poll.

WTF? I Think you’re reading a little too much into this. I figured it would be easier to remove it after it was detached from the person. Anyway–I really didn’t give it as much thought as you seem to have. I definitely respect each and every penis, and if I ever have to extract one, I’d say a little prayer, Native American style, to the penis’s spirit and all that. Yay penises. Happy now

No, not really. Many people would consider the optimum outcome to be: separate the two people, with everyone still physically intact. You appear to be thinking in terms of: remove the inconvenient penis by the easiest means possible, such as permanently detaching it from the equally inconvenient man. Now patronise someone else with your wittering about spirits.

I’m going to unspoiler this because it’s getting kind of ridiculous.
Um, I do think they should have both come out intact. BUT IN THE STORY, one of them did end up dying so my first thought was, if someone had to die, why was it the woman because in my mind, I didn’t think you could remove a vagina. If no one had died in the story I wouldn’t have thought anything. I don’t know why you think I have some weird “inconvenient penis” agenda. And I promise you I’m totally not patronizing anyone. I really do a little spirit prayer for every penis that has to be removed from its owner. Testes, too. 😃
Who wants to watch a double feature of An Inconvenient Penis followed by Teeth now? **DianaG** , I know you’re up for it!

And I strongly doubt that anyone does think you can. However, you can surgically loosen a vagina during a difficult childbirth, and restore most of the previous functionality afterwards, and I thought everyone knew this and would naturally think this preferable to _amputating_ anything.

I made no references to any agendas, I just gave you my reaction to what seemed to be yours. "O noes, a penis stuck in a vagina. Get it out at once, even if it means cutting it off its owner.
