Have you ever met a person who was born on the same day, same year, as yourself? I met Canadian impressionist Rich Little, but did not know at the time that he was born the same day I was. I don’t think I’ve known any others, but I knew a guy was only two days off. ---

Yep. Some JackHole I went to school with. Idiot ran straight into me in my first car, totaling them both. Funny thing (ha fucking ha) was our state used a combination of your initials and birthdate for the driver’s license number. Our initials were only one letter different. You know the rest… Drove the cops _nuts_ filling out the paperwork. ---

I have five birthday twins: 2 coworkers, 2 friends and my daughter in law’s stepfather. As a child, I knew a sweet older lady who lived on a farm who was my birthday twin. We sent each other birthday cards for years. ---

Worked with a lady who was just a few hours younger than I and we had another worker, female, who was exactly 10 years younger who’s time of birth was in between mine and the other ladies. Family member had what I always thought was a very cool birthday: 2-10-20 \*\*\* Feb 10th of 1920… ---

I have one friend who I actually met only a year ago with the same birthday as myself. We both agree it is the best birthday to have. My (twin) brother’s birthday is one day before mine and my grandfather’s birthday was one day after. That was always a great week in our family. 🙂 Incidentally, my current boss’ birthday is one day before my brother’s, making another nice little line. ---

Quite a few, but my favorite wasn’t another person. It was a gorilla named Oscar that lived at the Columbus Zoo. He was the son of Colo who was the first gorilla born in captivity and at 58 still the oldest gorilla in captivity. A regular birthday trip when I was a kid was to go visit him. We’d take him a present, usually a watermelon and the zookeeper would give it to him for us. Sadly, he died back in 93 at age 24. ---

I share a birthday with another Doper (same year as well) and I was at school with a girl who was born on the same day of the same year but in a different country so I was her elder by about 11 hours. ---

I was in a fast food place a few years ago and heard a lady being humorously needled about her entitlement to a senior citizens’ discount. She good-naturedly announced she had just turned 70 in November. Since I had also turned 70 in the previous November, I asked her her birthday. The tenth, she replied. I responded with a big OMG! and we both reviewed other important November tenth birthdays, including Martin Luther, Sir Richard Burton, writer WEB Griffin, formula one driver Eddie Irvine, and of course the United States Marine Corps. We checked to see if we had been born in the same hospital, or gone to the same schools, but no such luck. Many years earlier I met a gorgeous babe who was born on November 10, 1952, exactly ten years after I showed up. Unfortunately, she wasn’t interested in pursuing matters any further with me. ---

Provided their birthdays are random, a group of 23 people has a 50% chance of two people having the same birthday. Same year, guys. Same year. Listen to Shakes! My answer: I haven’t met one, no. I do share my birthdate with an Australian comedian who used to have a regular spot on a nationally screened show. My other half shares his with a Hollywood heartthrob. ---

My best friend in high school had the same birthday as me. At one point in English class we spent a term seated on a table of four together. The other two members of the group were also born on the same day - the year before. ---
