Someone in the thread **Jackknifed Juggernaut ** linked to also mentioned developing back acne, which is what I’ve seen. Probably doesn’t happen to everyone-- maybe people who are predisposed to have acne in the first place? Dunno, and cool for you if you don’t have this effect. Just thought I’d mention it.
I took it as a freshman in high school and I went from being a skinny weak kid to having a pretty powerful physique. The only thing is, I don’t think that the creatine actually made me stronger or more muscular. I think that I just worked out more because I was more enthusiastic about it, thinking that I was going to be incredibly ripped and huge.
**createAnAccount ** has provided the most accurate and informed info in this thread. I myself have been a lifelong weightlifter and after a 1 year hiatus am 2 weeks into a new regimen. That’s 6 workouts and plenty of creatine and the results are outstanding. People who know me can’t believe it. Muscle memory plays a large part but creatine’s role as a cell volumizer through water retention plays a large part as well. Don’t buy the fancy expensive stuff, just pure creatine monohydrate (it’s inexpensive) and judge for yourself.
