# Ever wake up from a dream freezing cold?

The other night I was having a mundane dream about riding a car down the road, but suddenly a carload of what looked like prohibition era gangsters started shooting at me. I looked down and there was a hole in my arm and a hole in my torso, but I didn’t see blood and it didn’t hurt. Nevertheless, I assumed I was gonna die. When I woke up I was freezing cold. I got back under the covers and snuggled up against Ms. P; I was back asleep in less than a minute. I don’t think I had chills; I wasn’t shaking. Is it possible that I just got cold and it made the dream take that turn?

Could be. I’ve had the opposite happen: dreaming that I’m surrounded by fire and waking up to find that I’m way too warm.
