I was really in to ska music as a teen so I dressed the part. I wore suspenders with a skirt (I’m a woman), but also with pants. Well, “braces” that don’t really do much functionally. But I did have a regular pair of suspenders that I did use on occasion to hold up my jeans, at the time. They were part of my band uniform, too. The button-on type, like a tuxedo. ---

My heavy winter pants have suspenders and since I work outdoors I’ve been using them all the way to May. Not going to use them for the next four months or so, though. Also back in the day I did downhill skiing I think some pants also featured suspenders but I don’t really pay attention to clothes so my memory is hazy about the details. ---

When in the military, I often wore straps that went from the shirt down to the socks. They helped keep the socks up and shirt tucked tightly in. ---

Nope. Never really thought I would, either. Frankly, I’ve always thought that suspenders were kind of silly. I’ve _always_ preferred belts. However, the other day I saw a commercial on T.V. featuring what was supposed to be a strongman (from an earlier era) and _he_ was wearing suspenders and I thought they looked good. On him. ---

I tried but they don’t work on short (and ESPECIALLY) busty young women. Also wore them for band. I was also not one of the popular girls. I’m thinking there may be a one-to-one correlation there.😉 ---

Wearing them now. I have several pair from Duluth Trading. Since, due to a genetic condition I have no ass, suspenders are a necessity. Belts don’t make it. It’s either suspenders or rivets. They get worn under my usual Hawaiian shirt. ---
