# Every Terry Pratchett Adaptation Ranked

The list is:
11: The Watch
10: Johnny and the Dead

1. Good Omens
I have only seen a few of them–I had not even HEARD of some of these–but now I really want to see **Troll Bridge** , **Going Postal** , and **Soul Music**. I have seen **Wyrd Sisters** , **The Color of Magic** , and **Good Omens** , and I tend to agree with the ordering on those. **Wyrd Sisters** was pretty painful to watch; I mostly remember the terrible animation.
Has anyone seen more of these?

Troll Bridge is on YouTube; there was a thread about it a few weeks ago. And yeah, it’s pretty good.

**Going Postal** is available on Prime Video. **Hogfather** is available on a bunch of streaming services with which I am unfamiliar. **Truckers** , the **Johnny** ones, **Wyrd Sisters** , and **Soul Music** don’t appear to be available anywhere. **Troll Bridge** is on Youtube, and **Good Omens** and **The Watch** , of course, on Prime Video.

I have only seen Hogfather and Good Omens. Good Omens was great and Hogfather wasn’t. They did a passible job of telling the story but the humor is all in the words not the action.

They may not want to touch the stinker.

Yeah, I kinda of wonder if the later UK release date is because they don’t want negative reaction from the UK (where Pratchett is more widely known) to poison viewership in other markets.

Only seen Hogfather but I agree with your assessment. It was quite nice to see it, some of the scenes were beautifully done, but there is little action, it seemed more like a read-through in costume than the final cut of a film.

I’ve seen Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music, and AFAICT they were about the same, quality-wise. They seem to have been done by the same team, and have the same animation style. “OK in a kids’-cartoon kind of style” is a pretty fair assessment

Good Omens was released on DVD so I was able to watch it via the Netflix DVD-by-mail service.

I’ve only seen two. _Good Omens_ is easily the best, but _The Watch_ is pretty good, especially once it gets going. Just don’t think of it as Pratchett (other than the character names). But there are a few Pratchettesque touches throughout.

I really enjoy Going Postal. It departs from the book, naturally, but they put together a fun story. Hogfather was okay, Color Of Magic wasn’t great, but I found it watchable. I bought the DVD set of Good Omens.
I don’t think I’m going to touch The Watch.
