Anything about China or all things Chinese. The differences between the book, film, and TV version of James Clavell’s _Shogun._ I actually have a standing arrangement with a friend of mine, in case we’re at a party and trapped in boring conversations. I can spring her out of a bad convo with endless Shogun talk; she can spring me out of one with shop talk about ceramics. Game of Thrones. I’ve read all the books and can go on for /hours./ ---

Pending bills in the US House of Representatives, and how they would influence certain existing regulations. Most recently? The insane amount of … unnecessary work involved in creating or revising new regulations.
