What happened in this thread to **Shodan** doesn’t qualify as “repeatedly”? It was a hijack that basically took the thread over for a couple pages. You’re position has been made crystal clear. **Budget** gets special protection from the mods for some reason. Meanwhile, the same rules don’t apply to **Shodan**. ---

As a casual reader of this thread, I finally have to delurk and ask: why do you keep harping on this? Has anyone actually said they want to be able to make off-topic remarks about any other poster outside of the Pit? Why do you keep bringing it up? And now that I’ve been drawn into this terrible thread, I have to point out that it is somewhat comical that you and Colibri both started off the thread mournfully shaking your heads that anyone would be so heartless and awful as to criticize BPC for remarks he made _in the past_! _In other threads_! Oh, the humanity! Yet, when the topic turned to Shodan, Colibri couldn’t start posting links about dickish stuff he said years ago fast enough. All of this stuff seems to be coming from you guys as posters, not mods, so I think Debaser’s comment about special protection from the mods is false, but that doesn’t change the fact that you guys aren’t exactly the model of consistency as posters. ---
