responding to tdn Look, all jokes aside, all my sweeties have been guys like you. You probably did have to distance yourself some. (NO OFFENSE!!) Desperation can be kinda… yucky. But sincerity is very sweet. And at first, I felt bad for AT too. But his whole approach was wrong. Dating is rough, and a lot of women (girls, we know it) are dumb b\*tches. So are a lot of guys, but that’s another thread. The thing is, its hard to find _anyone_ decent and cool, let alone someone of the opposite sex that you find attractive! I mean, there’s only one miss elizabeth! Maybe when AT gets a bit older he will reform; I don’t think he’s beyond all hope. But right now he’s a jerk. Maybe he could benefit from instruction though… perhaps you should try and help. 🙂 ---

Good grief, are we really shocked that a guy who is uninterested in a committed relationship would prefer to cut through all the bullshit and get right to the fucking? I feel the same way 99% of the time, and I’ve never felt like that made me a sexist. ---

Ok, maybe I was right in my very first post to **Argent Tower’s** thread. pehaps it’s just a very ill-considered tone, rather than an actual dislike of women. It’s no fun if he doesn’t come and tell us. At least then we can have a proper pile-on or a nice group hug. This “I think he meant this”, “No, I think he meant THIS” stuff is crap. I’m still not sure where he gets this idea that women are hard to talk to. After all, in this place everyone manages to have perfectly sensible, interesting conversations about all sorts of things (for the most part). There are still some posters that people go “you’re a GIRL!!” after having had vague chats with them for years. I’m not buying the idea that the 2 sexes can’t communicate on equal terms about most topics.
