You know, your constant descriptions of yourself as “matronly” and “middle-aged” gave me a mental image of you that I now see was quite unmerited, as you look pretty damn good. And from the picture of you 20 years ago, I see that you not only were one sexy young thing, but you also have a timeless fashion sense, which is more than I can say for some people judging from their photos circa 1984. ---

Okay, that didn’t work out. Pretend it never happened. Anyway, I know some ladies don’t like to hear it, Eve, but I see parts of your mother in your face. In the chin and across the brow especially. And goodness, your strapping father! How could she have resisted? But Eve’s still the prettiest. 🙂 We going on any cemetery perambulations this spring, Miss Golden?
