Apparently, things are [looking hopeful](http://www.empireonline.co.uk/site/news/newsstory.asp?news_id=16379) for yet another remake. At least Raimi/Tapert/Campbell are onboard, so the result shouldn’t need a boomstick to put it out of it’s misery.

I dunno, Bruce is getting a little old to pull off Ash. I’ll still buy the collector’s edition, but I’m a little nervous.

From what I’ve read, Bruce wouldn’t be playing Ash. Nor will Raimi be directing. Nor will this be a good idea.

This only has a shot in hell of working if:

1. Bruce Campbell stars in it.

AND

1. Sam Raimi directs.

Okay, if the Coen Brothers do it in Place of Raimi, they might be an acceptable substitute, but no one else.
