Something I think worth mentioning is that the book is _evil._ I’d put solid odds on some of the beneficial-sounding pages to be terrible in actual effect. There’s no real way to second-guess the WIFOM there, since we’d be playing against the moderator, not the scum, but I thought I’d throw that out there. **@brewha:** If we lynched NAF, I think he’d be revealed as whatever he actually is. I’m working entirely off memory, but I think he said the miller thing only applies to investigative powers. Of course, this is assuming he’s telling the truth. ---

**INT – THE CABIN KITCHEN, NIGHT** \*We see **Chipacabra** enter the kitchen, evidently on an important late-night mission. He moves stealthily down the stairs, into the kitchen, and glances suspiciously over each shoulder. Close on his eyes: they show a look of grim determination. After a moment, he moves toward the refrigerator, opens it, and pulls out two bottles of Miller Lite.\* CHIPACABRA Sweet. \*He pops open one of the bottles, drinks deeply. \* CHIPACABRA Mission accomplished. _Suddenly, he looks up, at something or someone in the shadows of the kitchen._ CHIPACABRA Who’s there? _Recognizing the interloper._ Oh. It’s you. What are you doing down here? Wait… you’re one of _them_, aren’t you? Those demon sons of bitches! Leave me alone! Don’t hurt me! I’m too good looking to die this early in the film! \*Seen only in shadow, the interloper raises a hand, points past Chipcacabra. His eyes widen… and suddenly a long spike bursts from his chest – he has been stabbed from behind. His mouth fills with blood, and he pitches forward with a thud. As quickly as it came, his attacker retreats into the darkness, even as the third occupant of the kitchen flees in the opposite direction. CUT TO – the following morning. The group has gathered around Chipacabra, who has definitively not transformed into anything scaly or creepy. \* MRS. MCGINTY Poor guy. TOTAL LOST This is bad news. MHAYE _(Says nothing, because he’s dead, too.)_ * * * **Chipacabra, The Complete A-Hole** , Who Was Pro-Town (Martyr) has been Night killed. **MHaye, The Unctuous Plastic Surgeon** , Who Was Pro-Town (Vanilla) has been, as well. Day Two begins now, and will end at around 5:00PM on Saturday, October 16. Happy Scum-hunting! NAF, you get anything, then, with your Night Curse action? Is it something that benefited you? Not that you’ve died, so it couldn’t have been anything bad (yet). Scum are not the only killers in this game, it seems. ---

Back to a thought I had before being interrupted by Dawn: How about a compromise with regards to the Book? What if NAF keeps it until we have a Townie who is confirmed and is willing to take the possession of the book? That way NAF can get (probably) several Nights of trying out the Powers, the book stays with a player we know has it, and we can learn what it does so as to use it to its best Town potential later in the game. Except what if… **If a Player returns the Book to the Pedestal during the Day is it up for grabs during that same Day?** ---

As Natlaw just pointed out, it’s bad for anyone to keep the book for too long. Bad for Town if a Townsperson keeps it because in a few days they die…so Town loses a member. And it would be seen bad for scum as well, in their opinion, so they’d obviously want a fellow scum to pass it on. No matter what side you’re on, you don’t want to hold the book for too long. This is why I’m continuing to say I think it should continue being returned with a new person taking it each time. ---
