Sure, sure it does. When you’re reading a book and this character who is a total asshole, or who does horrible things, and you think “I’d like to get into his/her pants” instead of thinking “I would like to see the good moral character kill him/her.” When you’re watching a movie and instead of frowning on the actions of the agonist, you find yourself reaching for the zipper on your jeans… This doesn’t really work for real-life people, it’s more of an entertainment geared one. Characters who are pure evil, just misunderstood, or plain strange… Let me give a few examples of people I have found to be sexy. Jack Torrance, The Shining. Randall Flagg, The Stand. Norman Bates, PSYCHO. Francis Dolarhyde, Red Dragon. Daryl Van Horn, Witches of Eastwick. Lestat, Interview w/ the Vampire (…I was never really into the whole series though) Lenoge, Storm of the Century. Evil and dangerous, what a combination. You want them tame enough to be housebroken, but not much more than that. Marlon Brando in The Wild One Lee Van Cleef and Henry Silva in just about anything Jack Palance in Shane Lance Henriksen in Near Dark (except his girlfriend would kick my ass) Stephen McHattie in Centennial Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West Yul Brynner in West World and The Journey Hmmmmm. Guess anyone under 50 isn’t going to recognize some of these. Sigh. ---

Nope, never went for the evil/bad guy. Didn’t particularly go for the goody-two-shoes type hero either, though (sometimes, not all the time). I like the Han Solo, Indiana Jones, John McClane, Martin Riggs type protagonist. Or the irreverent funny guy. On the other hand, Jamey Sheridan in _The Stand_ would still be one of my picks, because I liked him beforehand from the TV series _Shannon’s Law_. Who’s Louis, though? ---

Alex from A Clockwork Orange. I know he wasn’t exactly evil, but he wasn’t exactly good either. The King charachter played by DiCaprio in the Man in the Iron Mask was a completely evil person, but was still oddly attractive. ---

Well I’ve never seen the movie but Lestat has always had an appeal to me. Just all that confidence even when he is doing something completely evil was something I loved. He just seems oh so yummy and so damn sexy. Kitty ---

I don’t suppose I can say that all girls are evil yet I find them irresistable, can I? No? Louis…that’s the guy, the one who wrote/sang the song Baby Can You Dig Your Man, and met Rita, and then had that whole problem with Nadine. He was one of the “good” guys- he, Stu, Ralph, Glenn (and Kojack) marched out to Las Vegas to do battle with Flagg. ---
