> What is a “moral compos,” do tell?

Well, I’ve met people who seem to have moral compost instead of a moral compass, maybe that helps?

If you define the magnitude of evil as (badness of outcome \* intentions) Wakefield has to come out at or near the top of the list of recent non-politician evildoers.

I think you’d have to intentionally re-introduce smallpox to top him.

If you compile all the things she’s been accused of, this “your mom” character must top the list.

> Ford didn’t do it. Like Volvo, the company had longed for enough R&D money to break out of their tiny mold. Even before Ford took over, I believe a Jag chief officer bemoaned that they were stuck in the groove of making old-fashioned cars. I like the new Jags - and understand, my dad was a British car mechanic for several years after the war.

> Getting Volvo out of the iterations-of-the-240D box (literally) has to go to Ford’s credit as well.

When Ford bought Jaguar it had the most antiquated factory in the auto world. It was impossible for them to build a car up to modern quality standards. Ford built a new factory for the brand and the quality skyrocketed. It’s too bad for Ford that they had to bail out before they could recoup their investment.

Carry on.
Back to the OP:
As a class, I will nominate the arms dealers as the most evil people in the world.
