# Examples of decisions/laws that politicians made that were wrong/bad because of their "eliteness"?

To be very stereotypical about it, right wingers think that smart people are elitists and any decisions to help them are elite decisions. Such as funding for universities. Left wingers think that rich people are elitists and any decisions to help them are elite decisions. Such as tax cuts.
