# Excelsior College is ridiclulous

I have been considering getting a degree in cybersecurity, but I also want to start working. So I applied to Excelsior College. They sent me an unencrypted email with **my login name and password in plain text!** How good of a degree can this be if they break a cardinal rule like that?

Maybe it’s your first test. If you can spot the flaw in their procedure, they let you enroll.

what mischief could come of someone knowing your login name and password to the admissions site?
