I just noticed the other day that a LOT of people think Jimi Hendrix says that instead of “Excuse me, while I kiss the Sky!”. Mundane pointless thing I must share. but, to give this a little more substance, what have YOU noticed people singing instead of the real lyrics to a song? ---

you know, i’ve been to that sight before and while some of the entries are amusing a lot of them seem like someone forcably tried to think of something silly for the lyrics to say just sto see their name on a web site. I mean with some of them there is just no way someone could hear a message that garbled unless they were under water while the song was playing at a low volume. ---

I’ve submitted this one to [KissThisGuy.com](http://KissThisGuy.com), but it’s never been added, so… My musically inclined friend arrives at my house one day, excited and carrying a cassette. “You’ve got to hear this!” he exclaims, as he makes his way to the tape deck. He hits the play button, and the sounds of Big Empty by the Stone Temple Pilots drifts out, the first time I’ve ever heard it. I am enraptured… but puzzled. “What’s he saying?” I ask, and my friend translates the lyrics for me. - Time to take her home Her dizziness is contemslating.\* “What the hell does contemslating mean?” I ask “It’s not even a word”. My friend replies “I know! That’s what makes it so cool! They made up their own word for the song!!” Years down the track, I discovered the line was really _Time to take her home Her dizzy head is concience-laden_
