A co-worker brought in five cans of Aaron’s Brain Putty – sort of Silly Putty with strange additives. there’s glow-in-the-dark putty in several colors, opalescent putty, color-changing thermal responsive putty, several kinds of colored putty and – best of all – magnetic putty. Oh, that magnetic putty is awesome. It’s movements look almost intentional, yet are caused by simple forces (well, outwardly simple – I don’t even want to know what goes on inside of that stuff). ---

We bought a mix of these last year. I’ve got one of the purple electric. We also got some of the magnetic putty. It’s rather fun putting a ball bearing magnets on it, and watching the putty kind of grow around it. ---
