# Expedia/Travelocity preferred airlines?

I usually book through Travelocity. Recently used Expedia. Travelocity seems to have the best deals on American, Expedia favors United. Is there some agreement/contract involved?

Expedia owns Travelocity. I haven’t noticed any preference for airlines - they use the same backend engine I believe.
