Experiences you will never forget

Your father was wrong, and should be very ashamed. Doesn’t matter why he did it, he shouldn’t have.

Word.

They’re worse in some areas than others. This was more elevated, rolling hills, not the lower, lake prone area so no, I really don’t remember that being much of an issue.

Olentzero, I have wanted to see sea lights all my life, and I"m going to the south coast of Turkey this october. I thought I would have to travel to Puerto Rico to see it. I’ve just been googling for half an hour on bioluminescent and Turkey, can’t find anything. Can you tell me where you saw that? Any more info you can share?

Not my first time, but my first time with a girl I loved. Think of it often.

My very first San Francisco Giants game. Night game at Candlestick Park. I went with my grandmother and my favorite cousin who drove us. I was 10 yrs old. It was so cold. My grandmother let me drink coffee and my cousin’s Marlboro’s smelled good. It was 1979. We lost to the Atlanta Braves.

Cruising along a finger of coral about 60ft under the clear Caribbean when I topped a slight rise and then, behold, there be the end of the earth. I had come up over the edge of a truly vertical undersea wall and it provided a perspective unlike any other. The flat dusty island that seemed so firm when our boat trip departed that morning was revealed for its true identity - a mere tip of a tremendous undersea mountain.

Another diving moment was swimming through an undersea cavern, with sunbeam style rays of light providing the only illumination as they broke through crevices in the reef above. And in that cathedral-like space seeing light shimmer off the glint of thousands of silverside minnows as they swam in a bait ball - always just out of reach as I swam through their midst.
