# Explain the debate about natural immunity wrt having had Covid-19

The example doesn’t have to be from this thread. But I would like specifics of what you’re describing. Person X said Y in an article in publication Z and someone in the comments called them an anti-vaxxer for it. Can you give such an example?

Consistent with a previous [study](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7032e1.htm?s_cid=mm7032e1_w) out of Kentucky, a new, and larger, [study](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7044e1.htm?s_cid=mm7044e1_w) finds that vaccination is 5.5X more effective at protecting from hospitalization than natural immunity.
