No problem. I just got tired of seeing that from certain posters and snapped. I sorta recalled from a few years back that it wasn’t a hard and fast rule to call someone on their Jr. Modding.
Now if it IS a rule, then I won’t do it again.
I understand. I’m not familiar with the discussion you mentioned, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Here is my understanding:

It’s fine to Pit a poster for Junior Modding, just as it is to Pit them for any other rule violation–even if you’re completely wrong. The Pitting might backfire on you if it turns out you’ve got the rule wrong, but you’re safe from moderator action. And if it’s a repeat offender, this is probably your best strategy.

In most cases, calling someone on junior modding in the thread where they do it will hijack the thread and probably constitute junior modding itself. If it happens and the thread moves on without getting bogged down, I’ll probably just let the comment go or post a quick mod note. But If I was your father, and I’m sure we’re both glad I’m not, I’d suggest either recasting your comment (“I’d like to hear from the staff on that.”), or reporting the post, or both. That’s safe.

Understood on all points EXCEPT if you were my father…unless yer a lot older than you seem, it would have to involve time travel.
