# Explain to my friend why I'm awesome!

I am grateful for your all kind words. I’d say I don’t deserve them but that would make me a liar in the eyes of the many children who look up to me for their daily definition of _integrity_.

I would also like to specifically thank you all for omitting the couple of times when I saved the earth or the odd galaxy or two from certain destruction/ abominable evil/ 80s women’s haircuts.

No really, I know how much it cost you to keep such things to yourselves but, truly, as the berber tribes of the Amazon used to say: “Only a fool looks at the sun head-on”. Of course, they were made into the real fools by the sunglasses industry and most died of shame (or was it cholera?).

In any case, thank you. You bring me much joy, my dear subalterns.

Just wanted to let all of ya’ll know that my friend was (and I quote) “immensely impressed” by me after reading this thread.

Granted, I was looking for “impressed to the point of sexual arousal” but one must do with the people he gets. So thank you. Your performance was worth at least a B- .

And if you ever need to impress someone, just let me know and I’ll pop in to your thread to say hi to you _personally_ as if you were important to me.

No, don’t mention it. I _owe_ you.
