Stoners: She did! She did! (suddenly speaking as men) He! He did! He!  
Jewish Official: Was it you?  
Stoner: Yes.  
Jewish Official: Right…  
Stoner: Well you did say “Jehovah.”  
[Crowd throws rocks at the stoner]  
Jewish Official: STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! STOP IT! Alright, no one is to stone _anyone_ until I blow this whistle. Even…and I want to make this absolutely clear…even if they do say, “Jehovah.”  
[Crowd stones the Jewish Official to death.]

I use **Freyr** because (on this side of the planet) it’s a fairly obscure and unusual name. Don’t try this in northern Europe!

I started using it when I first got onto BBSs back in the late 80s.

Freyr is a god in the Norse pantheon. He’s the twin brother of Freyja. The only story that includes him in major detail is _The Lay of Skirnir_. The story tells how Freyr found and courted the giantess, Gerd. He’s also known as the founder of the royal house of Sweden.

Freyr is my patron. He’s a guiding influence in my life. I first encountered him on Yule of '84, when I was in my first coven in New Orleans. During the invocation, I got “hit with the spirit” which is pretty amazing because I was just a participant, not the one leading the ritual.
