I remember an episode of Barney Miller, in which a complaint had been made about a bakery making obscene shaped pastries. A box was brought into the station. The pastries were never described or shown, just people’s reaction to them. As Yemana(Jack Soo) said “I never would have thought of putting poppyseeds _there_!” ---

The website Cake Wrecks shows some dreadful baby birthing cakes and cupcakes. Ugh. ---

Does this trend mean that wedding cakes should be explicit representations of what we all know the happy couple are going to be doing on honeymoon? ---

My daughter’s baby is due in a few months, and if I never want her to talk to me again, I know what to send her. The cupcakes are bad but the cake is in the running for worst cake ever.
