As I said, hindsight is 20/20. Going over what Adler wrote and speaking with other Asaturar folk (who know the history of the movement well) I agree, for whatever reason, Adler didn’t give this the coverage it deserved. But knowing how things work in the field as opposed to when you’re writing your notes for publication, you often reaslize you should have focused on something differently. Thus are later editions born. Since the last edition of Drawing is nearly 20 years old, it might be time for another jaunt into the field, either by Adler or someone else.
While your friend does raise valid points, I also can’t help but feel his position is more “Adler didn’t write about Asatru the way I would have” rather than, Adler deliberately got it wrong. YMMV.
