CBS is reporting that a Saudi national is being questioned. According to the reporter, this person was seen near the bombings and ran away after the bombs went off. Someone tackled him and brought him to the police. He’s being questioned at a hospital and is denying all involvement. ---

BPD said they are questioning a lot of witnesses, to find out if they had seen something that could be useful to the investigation. Doesn’t matter what color you are, if something explodes near to you, which way would you run? ---

Listening to the news, they spoke with someone who was close to the bomb. Apparently the runner they were there to see had a cramp and was delayed and thus not there when the bomb went off. Since this runner ‘never has cramps’ they declared it was God watching over them. This sort of stuff just pisses me off. God saved your loved one? So that means he was a-ok with everyone else dying? That young girl had to die because God decided it? ---

How long until some assh\*le calls it the “Boston Massacre”? I truly don’t understand what someone could gain by doing this kind of act. ---

CBS Radio was reporting that BPD has a boatload of ‘suspicious’ bags in the area; mainly pocketbooks & clothes bags that people dropped as they ran away. My guess is 99+% turn out to be nothing, but I understand that they gotta check 'em all. ---

Do you not rather suppose that they are expressing their relief and gratitude that a loved one, who was in a very perilous position, was able to come out okay?
