MSNBC just reported that the Boston Marathon has released an official statement that two bombs exploded. I’m not sure how conclusive that is. The people who run the marathon aren’t munitions experts. ---

I just heard someone official being interviewed by Brian Williams and he said that there are at least 50 injured, some gravely. I’ve also seen word of at least 6 dead, but haven’t seen any confirmation. ---

A reporter on CBS is saying police just detonated a third device. ---

Scary shit. I have 2 friends who are running. I think it’s the first time for both of them. At least my homeless friend, who normally hangs out right in that spot, is in CT today. ---

The police announced ahead of time they’d be doing a controlled explosion of some device. You can find it on Twitter.
