AP reporting the suspect is from Chechnya. If this is true that puts a very different slant on the reasons behind this whole thing. And it would also mean these men are probably Islamic fundamentalists which will make the hearts sink of any Muslims on this board. Time will tell of course, but those are the reports. ---

I got up before 6am Eastern to see a press conference going on. Who’s speaking? My good buddy, Chief of Watertown PD, [Big Ed Deveau](http://watertownpd.org/about/chiefs-office/)! Apparently White Hat is believed to be pinned down in Watertown, so everyone is on lockdown. We texted him “Go get 'em” and he replied “on it!”. Go Big Ed! 😉 ---

This thread is really exciting. Does anyone know, if the suspects are really related to the marathon bombings, were they flushed out, or did they have more things planned?
