What I learned from this experiment: Explosions are cool, but boobs invariably grab my attention much better. After a couple clicks I realized I was instinctively looking to the right for every page load. ---

For them to be compelling, we must watch them from the beginning. Not just a still right in the middle. Boobs on the other hand must do nothing more than exist for them to be compelling. Solution: Stare at boobs more. ---

Yep, while I love me an explosion, I was mainly looking at the boobs while checking out the explosions with my peripherals. ---

As a special effects artist, I actually find that page to be surprisingly useful- I use it as photo reference every day. It’s at the top of my bookmarks right now. Oh, I guess the explosions are nice, as well. ---
