Hi… So I made this short film, and I exported it in the .mov format (mostly because I thought it would be the easiest to put straight on to my iPod).

Unfortunately, for some reason it doesn’t seem to work. Once I got home and plugged in my portable hard drive and got the file and everything, it just came up with a blank screen. Quicktime comes up and it plays the sound okay, but there’s no picture! It’s rather frustrating.

I think it might be a codec problem but I have no idea what the codec I require is.
I took a look through the Avid website but I couldn’t find anything helpful on there.

Does anyone out there know what’s wrong and how to fix it?

thanks a bunch!
