Hooking up. I hate it…just say you met someone, or went home with them, or had wild monkey sex on their couch for god’s sake. I don’t know what it is…just sounds so snotty to me for some reason. ---

“All righty nooow”. The temptation the slap them silly can be very strong. All the managers at my work have been going to mandatory leadership training. My manager as have many others, have taken to calling their subordinates ‘brother’ or ‘sister’. I remind them that I am not their brother. I even told one manager that called me brother (for the last time I might add), that I was not his brother and if I was, I would go slap our mother for having him. He thought it was funny. I was being serious. ---

I hate when people say “My Bad” Ick! And I hate the term “My Man.” Example: “Don’t you touch My Man.” Blech. ---

Okay, since this is a double-posted OP and the other one I posted to is falling by the wayside, I say again: Saying (or writing) something as being the “Worst. \_\_\_\_\_. Ever.” Or best \_\_\_ ever, stupidest \_\_\_\_ ever, etc. Using periods like that for emphasis is beyond hackneyed at this point. Comic Book Guy, you ain’t. ---
