“Not three bad”.

“Lovely jubbly”.

**Engineering pet-peeve** : I _hate_ it when I ask a simple technical question and, after a long pause, the **“answer”** starts off as follows:

“Well, it depends…”
“Yes and no…”
“Possibly…”

One my sister reminded me of is “coming with” as in “are you coming with?” or “I want to come with.” With _what_? With me? With guns a-blazin’? Both of us hate that phrase because it just sounds lazy and stupid to us!

The use of “much” to mean “very”, as in “painful much?” Yes.

“Case closed” ranks right up there with “Nuff said.”

I have never heard of “jumping the shark”, either, and my teen usually keeps me abreast of these things. I’m not sure I’m glad it’s gotten an extension.

OK, a little off topic, but “Recommend me…” I see this all the time on this board. It is a huge pet peeve of mine.

I HATE “Dude!” I hate it so much, I can’t even list it as an acceptable phrase for a 12 year old. It needs to be vanquished from the American vocabulary, and quickly.

A few more"
“frankly” - this word always sets off my bullshit alarm.
“ya know what I’m saying?” - this one’s even worse when it’s used repeatedly at the end of a sentence.
I think “bling bling” is just dumb and I’ve had enough of “keepin it real” too.

How about “It is and it isn’t?” Well, which is it?
