Last year: drank a lot, wandered all over Franklin Street looking for a bar that was open during the extra hour, got insulted by a homeless lady, ended up standing outside the crappy N. Y. pizza place listening to a total stranger deliver a long monologue about race relations and self-respect, broke into an academic building to use the bathroom. This year: slept. I feel old… ---

Tried to explain to my son that despite what his body felt, the clock said 6 am and he should be sleeping. Didn’t work so I cleaned the house and did laundry. I’ve got big plans for next year’s bonus hour… ---
