# Extreme Makeover winners to lose house

I’d say the folks who took pity on their plight and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of their time, money and expertise to give them a better life, might find something pit worthy in having the family gamble it all away.

I can relate, it would be a natural reaction.

However, a wise person once told me that when you give something to a person you must also give up your attachment to it. It is now their’s to do with what they want. If you are not prepared to do that, then you are not prepared to give. It’s not easy, by any means, but taking this approach is good karma.

At least two of my subs worked on that house, and they were paid by their employer. I think most of the donations were of the monetary variety, though that doesn’t really make it any easier to stomach.

Sorry for the nitpick.
