Did you take any supplements or medications to make them go away??

This. I hate them. And I’ve recently developed a couple of new ones - little black specks that make me think there are gnats in front of my face. Gah!!

Nope. No changes in medications or diet or anything like that.

I always had a small number of the typical translucent stringy floaters, until the incident I describe above. Now I also get the little black specks that make me think they are little bugs. I don’t get a lot anymore, but I never had any like that before the incident.

Serious question, my eyes are horrible. Near sighted, far sighted, astigmatism, you name it. If I ever get eye floaters or other issues, will I notice?

I’m nearsighted and astigmatic, and I sure notice mine. One in particular looks like a fly or a gnat. I’m occasionally to be seen swatting at the air when there’s nothing there.
