Welcome to the Straight Dope. I moved your thread from The Café to the Factual Questions Forum (Category) as [Café](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/about-the-cafe-society-category/911005) is for OPs about Food and Entertainment and your question appears to be looking for a Factual Science based answer. So [FQ](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/about-the-factual-questions-category/910999) is a better fit.

Have fun,
Jim
