I think it can work if the people involved are psychologically healthy. Yeah, getting it off with someone feels awesome…and it’s prolly lots healtheir then lying in bed wishing you were with someone. I know someone who was in a fuck buddy realtionship b/c she didn’t have any real friends, and needed to feel close to someone (and she looked at me like I had three heads when I said that didnt seem too healthy) She was also in the realtionship b/c she felt like she "needed to heal from a rape (a real one, where she was assaulted in a dentist’s chair) ---

Green Bean - I assume my family inferred that I am a sweet innocent that does not screw around (well, before I was in a monogamous relationship). I am not going to burst their bubble! 🙂 AboutAsWeirdAsYouCanGet - yeah, that sounds… unhealthy, to say the least. ---

I had such a friend, for about 16 months. I would _never_ do it again. We both knew fully well that we were using each other, and the guilt was almost overpowering. Of course, a 20-year-old man has needs, so guilt or no guilt, I made that phone call whenever I felt the need. Ditto for her.
