Just updating the part of the discussion involving the use of the term “tart” to mean “prostitute” with a link to [a concurrent thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/why-are-there-massage-parlors-in-the-unites-states/938289/81) now discussing the advertising medium known as “tart cards”, which are business-card-type flyers distributed around public places to advertise sexual services.
