I wanted to visit an uncle’s page the other day, but it was gone. The next day, I got a friend request from him. After verifying (by email) that the request was legitimate, I confirmed. A few minutes ago I got this email from my uncle: > i got onto Facebook one time and that was it. No more Facebook and don’t have any idea how to contact anybody. I did get a notice that I had violated their community standards. Guess I’m not supposed to visit Marketplace. Now, Unk does think Trump won the 2020 election. He has a tendency to share fake news from Russian troll farms. I can see how he may have gone astray from community standards. Is there anyway he can find out how long he’s suspended? Does Marketplace have anything to do with anything? ---

Unk says he’s suspended forever and he has no idea why. ---

Lately I have a lot of friends who have had short-term suspensions. The Facebook bots seem to have turned up the heat. Not related to marketplace. It hasn’t happened to me --yet–so I’m not sure what you do about it. ---

There may be advice for you in this [thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/facebook-content-warnings-have-gone-mad/937899), in which people talk about the new bannings at Facebook. I didn’t read the thread because I don’t Facebook, but can’t hurt to look.
