How do I start a facebook account/page for an entity other than myself. I want to do so for a softball league of which I am a member. Thinking a “group” was what I wanted, I started one last night. However, turns out this is not what I wanted. The facebook home page doesn’t seem to offer any prompts except for personal pages. Thanks in advance. ---

If you want a group you create a personal page and on the left side there’s a part that says Groups, click More and click create group. Then invite the people you want to be part of the group. ---

I think what you want is to make a “Page”. Go into Facebook, and you should see a sidebar with “Favorites”, “Groups”, “Pages” down the left side. Under “Pages” there should be an option to “Create a Page…” Try that. ---

Thanks. However, no such option. With the hundreds of thousands of “other than personal” pages on fb, there’s got to be something I’m missing. ---

Go on to any ‘other than personal’ page - in the top right hand corner you will see the option CREATE PAGE - Click on it
