ok now im not sure this will work as it may be much too general, but heres the situation. some time soon im going to be quizzed on random FACTS about jesus and early christianity. Not real important stuff, but questions like “what do the initials “INRI” mean when depicted on the cross” (i know the answer to that one) anyone with any of these would be much appreciated. ---

ive also heard I’m Nailed Right In but no i know what IRNI means. translated literally, “jesus of nazareth, king of the jews” i need other random stuff like this though ---

I don’t know if you’re going to be able to get any hard “facts”, as pretty much the only account we have of him is the New Testament, and the factual content is disputed. I’d say the best you could do is to just read the NT over a few times, and take notes. ---

Who’s going to be quizzing you? Are they associated with a particular church or denomination? Is it part of a class? Knowing who’s asking might help determine what they’d be likely to ask. ---

its not any like church member its a guy who knows a great deal about random stuff. things like “where did the name ‘christ’ come from?” ---

It’s Greek, and its meaning is roughly the same as “messiah”. Jesus is the Greek version of the guy’s name - his friends might have called him Yeshua (Joshua). INRI is Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum. It’s Latin, it has the same meaning you said in your first post (Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews) and the "i"s are actually "j"s. This sounds a lot like homework. Why is your friend likely to be giving you a quiz, and why do you know it will be about Jesus? ---
