# False awakening

One morning, years ago, I had seven false awakenings in a row, before finally managing to wake up for real.

My late son was taking Ambien at one point, which has well-known side effects. His wife discovered him one night in the kitchen where he had torn up his paycheck into small pieces, put them in a bowl with milk and was eating it.

Oh. I remember you telling that story before.  
I had a brief (very brief) trial on Ambien.  
It was about that bad with me. I was getting up in the middle of the night and eating things that I shouldn’t.  
I told the prescribing Doc.  
He remarked I should not have taken them with my history. And added, try a 1/2 pill.

I flushed them as soon as I got home.  
I do not need any thing making me crazier.
